Have you heard the old phrase "Garbage in, garbage out"? Is this a true and accurate statement or just a way for parents to shape what their kids watch and listen to? Well for me, music speaks to my soul - when there is uplifting music on, I find myself humming along or busting a (very small) move. This girl can't dance or sing, but please don't let her know because; humming, singing and dancing brings her immense joy! I have been known to blow a speaker or two in my car...when the spirit is moving the music simply can't be loud enough. (My apologies to audiologists) This afternoon I found myself driving and a song came on that touched my soul:

Do your people know you are grateful for them? Do your people know you love them? Do your people know they are your people? Words are a powerful tool - let your people know how you feel. In a time that is trying, lonely and unknown it is more important than ever to let your people know how much they mean to you.
So for me, yes, I whole heartly believe that this old wives tale holds true. TODAY there was beauty that entered my mind through song and it compelled my soul to love.
